What does it mean to edit text with the same font?

Matching the font means more than finding a typeface name: spacing, outlines, shadows, surface texture and perspective also affect the result. The examples show rounded poster lettering, a hand-lettered restaurant sign and a distressed vintage title.

Enter the whole word or line rather than a few letters inside it. A longer replacement can change spacing or text size; keep the length similar where possible. Selected-area edits retain the original pixels outside the approved rectangle. Inside it, lettering and texture can be rebuilt, so inspect letter shapes, shadows and patch edges at full size.

Frequently asked questions — edit text with same font.

Do I need the original font file?

No. The editor uses the visible lettering in your source image. It aims to match the style rather than identify or recover a font file.

Can it reproduce hand lettering or textured type?

The examples include these styles, but results vary with image clarity and lettering complexity. Compare texture, shadows and letter shapes before publishing.

What happens when the replacement is much longer?

The lettering may become smaller or spacing may change to fit. Try a shorter phrase and review the surrounding design.

How does the editor preserve the original font and layout?

The editor analyzes the visible typography, color, texture, lighting and perspective, then renders the replacement in context. Always compare the result before publishing.

Which image formats are supported?

Upload PNG, JPEG or WebP files up to 10 MB.

How many credits do I get at sign-up?

New accounts receive 6 sign-up credits once account verification is complete. These credits are valid for 30 days and are separate from the daily allowance.

Do I get free credits every day?

Yes. You can receive 6 free credits each day, in addition to your sign-up credits. The daily allowance is added when you use it after browser verification.

When do daily credits reset?

At 00:00 UTC. The navbar and editor show a reset countdown. Unused daily credits expire at the reset and do not accumulate. Separately purchased credits never expire.

How many credits does an edit cost?

One standard 1K edit costs 6 credits. This means the daily allowance covers one 1K edit. The exact credit cost is shown before submission.

Why is browser verification needed?

A quick browser check protects the daily free allowance. It starts when you choose to use free credits and may ask you to complete a challenge. Your image and edits stay in place if you cancel or retry.

What happens if an edit fails?

Eligible failed edits return the deducted credits with their original expiry. Daily credits refunded after their UTC reset stay expired. Purchased credits keep their validity.

Can I use the result commercially?

Yes, provided you own the source image or have permission to edit and use it.
